南アフリカ生まれのSちゃんはピアノが大好き。
Ms.S is such an enthusiastic piano learner.
大好きだから新しい曲をどんどん読んで行きます。
She is so keen to learn new songs, so she does not mind at all reading new pieces( most of pupils dislikes reading new music) Often she reads half a book in one or two weeks.
テクニックが、まだついていってはいないけれど、それは別に、
私は彼女の次々と沢山の曲を読んで弾きたい、と言う意欲！！を挫がない様にレッスンを行っています。
She may face technical challenges when she advances to read new pieces non stop but I truly value her willingness to learn new pieces and I try not to hinder her quest.
ピアノアドベンチャーズは弾き易いのでどんどん進むのですが、
日本の教材, 今使っているのは江口メソードのピアノの学校/音楽の学校, こちらはあまり弾き易くは無いんです。
Piano adventures are always kids friendly and children can often proceed without big challenges but Many Japanese traditional piano method includes not so simple stuffs.I often use EGUCH method for both Japanese and non- Japanese students to make them face & try technique challenges from early learning time.
さすが日本の教材、挿絵はすごく子供っぽいのですが、内容は真面目であまり面白くはなくて子供の指にたやすくはない課題を与えることが多いです。
Japanese method often has very childish illustration but unlike the silliness of those pictures, the contents are tough.
だから日本の子供はピアノの学習が進んでいるのではないかしら？ですから私はアメリカの教材と日本の教材を両方使います、
I guess that's why the level of piano learners in Japan is high in general.
Sちゃんはこの本を”That evil book” あの厄介な本と呼んでいます。笑笑
Ms. S. calls this Japanese book " that evil book." laugh
でも彼女の偉い事は、それでもきちんとやること。
今日もレッスンの最後にあの緑の本をやらないとね、と促したら "That evil book!" (やだな〜〜 )
However, she does not sabotage. Today, almost at the end of lesson, when I urged her play " Unison" from the Japanese book, she grumbled,, "OH, that evil book"" but then,

OK!
It's Haloweeen! Let's play it in a spooky key!.“ と言ってヘ短調で弾き出した。 She started to play it in f-minor!!
私も協力して部屋を暗くして第二ピアノをアドリブで不気味な感じで弾いてみました。なんと楽しい❗️
I also supported her idea to add second part of piano and made the room light dim.
f minorの後はじゃぁ今度はハッピーな長調で弾こう！とこれもまた彼女のアイディアで、C-Majorにもどる。
After the spooky f-minor key, she sparked, Now, let's play in a happy key! and we got back to C Major.
こう言う自発的アイディアに溢れて、音楽をピアノ固いだけの真面目なだけの習い事ではなく、純粋に音楽として楽しめる人、
素晴らしいと思う❣️
I love these children with inspiration and creativity who can enjoy music, not only study music only with seriousness.
